Questions to ask about the MLM company before becoming a partner:

• What is the start up cost to join the company?
• What training is provided and what ongoing support systems are in place to ensure your success?
• Does it seem like a pyramid scheme?
• Is the company established or new?
• Does the company provide an online solution to help new recruits join?
• Does the company offer both part time and full time opportunities?

Questions to ask yourself:

• Does the opportunity fit within your current lifestyle?
• How much time is required to make the opportunity successful?
• Do you have the necessary time to dedicate to the opportunity?

The downside to MLM:

• The company may have a bad reputation.
• It may be more challenging than outlined to find new recruits.
• The opportunity may be a pyramid scheme. There is a major difference between MLM and a pyramid scheme.
• There may be a start up cost for training, advertising and travel.
• As in any sales position, there will be rejection.

My advice is to find an established online opportunity that is centered around a recent online trend. This selection will allow you to ride the wave to success!

Using the internet is one effective recruiting tool for MLM companies. I conduct all of my business online through blogs, forums and instant messenger programs such as MSM and Skype.

If you need any help, please drop me an email or a comment and I will help steer you in the right direction.

Jayshree @ 4:03 am

sir,
Am a sudent, pursuing MBA, i have been assigned to identify the problematic area of Amway co., but when i visited the concern, they says that every thing is fine with them. So please help me in knowing the problametic area of Amway business.

Thank You
Jayshree

Ryan Shamus @ 11:02 am

Hi Jayshree, I dont think there are any major problems with Amway. The business is legal, and legitimate. The main problem I can think of is that people try to recruit friends and family and this can be a bad thing. Not everyone wants to be sold to and when a relative tries to sell amway to you, its hard to say no.

Amway and other Network Marketing businesses can cause bad feelings between friends and family.

My advice to anyone in Network Marketing is dont do what they tell you to. Dont try to recruit your friends or family unless you know they would be interested.

Instead, try some of the other techniques.. use online advertising and traditional network marketing techniques without involving friends and family. When they see you are doing well with your new business, they will come to you, rather than you having to beg them to get involved.

I was in Amway a while ago… they have a great support and a great learning package. I learned a lot.

Many people think Anway is a Scam… I guess it depends on your definition of the word scam. I personally think its a legitimate business model and if people put in the hard work required to build up their business, they can do very well.

When considering a network marketing company, you may first want to decide a category of product or service you would be interested in using for yourself, i.e. nutrition, skin care, dental insurance, pre-paid legal services, etc.

That can narrow the companies to review.

Hallo,
I am interested into introducing a new MLM in my country(KENYA) as an agent or a distributor to an established company not yet in my country but which is doing well in other countries.I have few years experience in this industry and although I cannot boast of having made good money, but at least I have acquired enough skills, at one point I used to do business presentations however i quit because i felt not qualified enough to train others on a business that which has not worked for me.
How can i be linked so that i link my potential mlmers in KENYA who normally fall in love with new mlms like crazy.
Please advice me on how to go about it.
