Blog Monetization Strategies

Matt Jones from Blogging Fingers has just released a new ebook which he is giving away. The ebook talks mainly about how to monetize a blog, so if you have your own blog and you are finding it difficult to make money from it, I highly recommend downloading Matts free guide.

Matt covers Niche blogs and FlagShip blogs, different forms of advertising, monetization strategies, wordpress plugins, when and where to place your adverts and a whole lot more.

All in all, I think Matt has done a great job explaining how to monetize your blog. There has been a lot written about this topic but this ebook deals with the various strategies in much more detail.

I personally like to wait at least 6 months before I start to monetize my sites, but then again I am fortunate enough to already own several highly profitable sites. If your blog or site is the only one you have then you need to think about earning money from it as soon as possible.

One of my favorite ways to earn money through a site is through affiliate programs because you can tailor the affiliate program to the topic of the post.

Im not a great fan of Adsense anymore, I personally think it makes a Flagship blog or site look cheap, but then again if it is a niche blog rather than your main blog, it is a great way to monetize the traffic you receive.
