Comments on Top 100 Make Money Online Blogs »

April 16, 2008

Stacy F @ 12:35 pm

This is a great list! Thanks!

Thinkjayant @ 4:53 pm

nice post. appreciate your effort to compile the huge list.

hope one day my blog would be up there towards the top. But that's a long way to go and i have just started.

[...] from RyanShamus.com has put a nice and may I say exhaustive list of 100 Make money blogs. The following blog deserves the top ten position in gavin's list. Click the link below to [...]

Emma @ 9:17 pm

Wow Gavin, you read every blog. I enjoyed seeing what your take was on the different blogs.

Craig Seabaugh @ 11:45 pm

Very nice resource Ryan. Thanks for all the work. I'm digg'n & stumbl'n all over it.

April 17, 2008

Ryan Shamus @ 4:26 pm

Thanks for all your comments! Yes, I read through all the blogs over a period of time, and it took a while! Some pretty good blogs also!

It would be interesting to know how many of those blogs are actually making money and those which aren't.

The make money online niche is very hard to make money from, as Im sure most people know.

Keep the great comments coming :-)

Stephan Miller @ 4:36 pm

It's nice of you to call me a guru. :) But I really don't describe myself that way. I am just an average guy stubborn about making money online.

And as far as Ryan's comment goes. On the SM.com, I don't make much money. On my other blogs and niche sites, I do. But I don't make my money by hawking stuff to newbies in the "make money" niche. SM.com is where I write about my experiences. So I think it qualifies. Many make money online blogs are a self-fulfilling prophecy. "You come to my site. You bought something. Guess what. I just made money."

It would be interesting how this top100 list stacks up after the new Alexa algorithm change. It should be a very dramatic change.

Collin LaHay @ 9:10 pm

"#28
Mixed Market Arts is a multiple author blog that features reviews of various tools and websites that help visitors to make money blogging. Articles on SEM, SEO, Blackhat SEO, web traffic, affiliate marketing, and advertising are most popular, and visitors can leave comments."

Single author*** :-)

Forest Parks @ 11:09 pm

I find Garry Conn to be the best of this bunch, for my purposes. I have been finding a lot of the A-listers useless in recent times and am reverting to some smaller blogs for my info.

I just wrote a post today about a post on Garry Conn which attacked John Cow and a few others.
http://www.therandomforest.com/2008/04/17/when-bloggers-attack/

Sorry for the personal plug, just seemed relevant to the post!

this is really a very helpful post, especially to those who are newbies in marketing their products online. it may not be as easy as 1-2-3, but perhaps the list given will give a great deal of information. By posting blogs and marketing your products all at the same time, making money online would be possible.

George @ 5:06 am

Ryan,

Thanks for the nice write up on my blog. I like what you did with this post. Summarizing each site is a good way for people to know which site(s) might suit them best.

Thanks for the link…but I'm number 66;)

Hi Stephan, no worries, but I will call you a guru anyway :-) I will be waiting for someone to update the list now the Alexa has changed.

Collin, I have made the changes, thanks for pointing that out.

Hi Forest, yes I had been reading about all the negativity and its sad to see, but I guess when there are lots of people in a crowded area, thats what you get.

Thats a pretty funny post you made on your blog also Forest! Excellent! It made me laugh.

Ruthy, thanks, glad you like the post!

George, yeah! definately helps people learn more about the individual blogs as there are so many of them out there.

Lori, sorry about that, do you want me to move you to the right place? Only problem is that it might be difficult to move them all, but I can do it, just let me know.

I think that's really interesting. And congrats to all of those who made it to the TOP 100.

I've just recently started getting into blogging on a serious level and am learning the ropes. I know I would be stoked to end up in that list.

Thanks for the post Ryan - great follow up on the sites.

Don't you this that there is something funny. Check About section of 45n5 site which says that "45n5 is the #1 website on the internet for people wanting to make money online." and the funny part of the list of "Top 100 Make Money Online Blogs" prepared by 45n5 is that they are not even in the list of first 10 ;) they are at 13th.

Thanks for the kind words about JMMO! Really appreciate it.

BTW, something seems wrong with the comment form. I can't add my URL in the usual box. 'am using FLock.

[...] Top 100 Make Money Online Blog - Ryan Shamus shares some of his thoughts on the individual blogs listed on 45n5's Top 100 Make Money Online Blogs list. Loved what he wrote about JMMO: "Just Make Money Online lists tons of great ways to make money online, including websites, links, and easy to understand descriptions of how each site works. The site is a nice change of pace that is low on the techie insider stuff and heavy on the practical pick-up-some-quick-cash tips and tricks." Thanks, Ryan. [...]

Hi kevin, Yeah thats pretty funny, but I guess they could be the number 1 resource to many of their readers as its all about building a good relationship with your readers. Some of the higher ranking blogs may not appeal to their readers.

Shai… Im not sure what the problem is… what kind of error are you getting when you try to add your link?

Is anyone else experiencing this problem?

How did you compile the list? (Like what criteria?)

Nice list but imo many of the blogs on the list aren't even about making money online and I'm sure there are some that don't even make any money at all.

Hey Chris,

I actually got the list from http://www.45n5.com/top100/ - so Im not sure what critera they used. Your right, some of the blogs are on different subjects but most of them have some sections about making money online.

Im sure there are thousands more blogs also :-)
