Social Marketing It Doesnt All End At DIGG
A great list of “Digg-like sites”, that MUST be part of your social marketing plan.
The importance of Social Marketing and using Social Bookmarking sites can not be underestimated. However, sticking a DIGG button on the end of a few of your blog posts is NOT gonna cut the mustard! Social Bookmarking sites for social marketing have been around for a long time, and many are used for certain categories.
If you niche fits in a particular category, with a ‘digg-like’ social bookmarking site, then by all means ensure you use it as part of your social marketing strategy.
Here is a big list of Social Bookmark sites and their categories for you to ‘play with’. Some have been in use for longer than Digg itself, most enable links (although not all), and all can help you with social networking to increase traffic.

Very true. You have to at least figure out what type of content each community enjoys. Then you need to become involved in the community too. Too many people just drop their link into a site expecting it to rise to the top with no thought behind it.
